Current Situation:
- Reports indicate that the Dardanelles Strait is slated to fully reopen to maritime traffic during the afternoon hours (local time) on January 22.
- Maritime traffic in the north-south direction reportedly resumed from 15:00 (local time) after dense fog that had brought transit through the passage to a halt had reduced.
- Additionally, it was reported that maritime traffic in the south-north direction would resume from 16:45.
