Singapore Tactical: Traffic measures announced for National Day Parade rehearsals on June 14, 21, 28; allot for disruptions
Current Situation:
- The Singapore Police Force announced traffic measures on account of National Parade Day 2025 rehearsals and shows at Padang, located within Downtown Core of the Central Area in Singapore on June 14, 21, and 28.
- The authorities announced that traffic delays are expected along Beach Road, Bras Basah Road, Collyer Quay, Guillemard Road, Hill Street, Mountbatten Road, North Bridge Road, Raffles Avenue, Raffles Boulevard, Republic Boulevard, Temasek Avenue, Temasek Boulevard and Victoria Street.
- As part of Phase 1, the following road closures will be implemented starting at 02:00 (local time) on June 14, 21, and 28 and ending at 02:00 on June 15, 22, and 29 respectively: Republic Avenue, Republic Boulevard towards republic Avenue, Republic Boulevard towards Raffles Avenue, Nicoll Highway towards Mountbatten Road, Esplanade Drive towards Nicoll Highway, Fullerton Road, Cannaught Drive, St Andrew’s Road, Parliament Place, Supreme Court Lane, and Coleman Street. Additionally, the following lanes will be closed: both left lanes of High Street, both left lanes of Crawford Street, both right lanes of Raffles Avenue, and the right lane of Beach Road.
- As part of Phase 2, the following road closures will be implemented between 08:00 to 23:59 on June 14, 21, and 28: Beach Road, Nicoll Highway, Raffles Boulevard, and Stamford Road. Additionally, the following lanes will be closed: five right lanes of Raffles Avenue, four left lanes of Stamford Road, four right lanes of Bras Basah Road (between Beach Road and Nicoll Highway), three left lanes of Guillemard Road, two right lanes of Bras Basah Road (between lamp post 71/1F and Beach Road), two right lanes of Middle Road, one right lane of Beach Road, and slip roads from Mountbatten Road and roundabouts connecting Stadium Drive, Stadium Road, and Stadium Place into Nicoll Highway. The left lane of North bridge Road will be closed between 15:00 to 18:30 on the event days.
- Additionally, North Bridge Road and its three left lanes will be closed between 13:00 to 15:00 and between 18:30 to 20:00 on June 14, 21, and 28. Esplanade Drive towards Collyer Quay, Raffles Avenue, and Raffles Link towards Raffles Avenue will be closed between 13:00 to 23:59 on the above event days.
- Motorists proceeding to Suntec City and Marine Square from Bras Basah road, Esplanade Drive, or Nicoll Highway are advised to use alternate routes via Bayfront Avenue or Rochor Road leading to Temasek Boulevard.
- The authorities informed that during the slated closures, access will be granted only to authorized vehicles and to police/emergency vehicles. Security personnel, including police officers and Singapore Armed Forces marshals, will be deployed at the affected junction to ensure smooth traffic.
- Parking restrictions along the affected roads are reported to be strictly enforced.
