Saudi Arabia Tactical: Authorities warn of inclement weather conditions in several areas, including Mecca, Riyadh, on January 26; take necessary precautions
Current Situation:
- State media issued inclement weather warnings for several areas in Saudi Arabia on January 26 which will remain in place until 21:00 (local time).
- In the Mecca province, a red alert has been issued for rains, thunderstorms, winds, floods, and low visibility in Maysan, Adham, and several areas in al-Lith.
- In the Riyadh province, an orange alert has been issued for rain, thunderstorms, winds, floods, and low visibility in Afif, al-Duwadimi, al-Quwayiyah, al-Majma’ah, Shaqra, al-Zulfi, and al-Ghat.
- Additionally, a yellow warning has been issued for high winds, low visibility, and thunderstorms in other areas of Riyadh province, including central Riyadh.

- In case of flood warnings, immediately evacuate to higher ground. Once the higher ground has been reached, do not attempt to evacuate the wider region alone and seek professional assistance with evacuations. Do not walk or drive through flood waters.
