Oman Tactical: Commercial vessel sinks southeast off Salalah during late morning hours on June 21; allot for disruptions; remain cognizant of authorities’ updates

- Oman’s Maritime Security Center (MSC) announced that a Comoros-flagged commercial vessel capsized 20 nautical miles (approximately 37 km) southeast off Salahah during the late morning hours (local time) on June 21.
- Per the authorities, the 20-member crew of the vessel was rescued by a nearby commercial vessel, Gulf Baraka.
