• Emerging reports indicate that dozens of protesters gathered near the entrance of the Egyptian Embassy in Beirut during the afternoon hours (local time) on July 23. 
• Additional reports indicate that low-level scuffles between security personnel and the protesters have materialized.  
• As per reports, the protesters are demanding the opening of Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.  

Those operating or residing in Lebanon on July 23 are advised to avoid nonessential travel near the Egyptian Embassy in Beirut due to the ongoing protest and associated unrest.
