Israel Tactical: Anti-government protests slated in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem on May 28-29; maintain heightened vigilance

Tel Aviv
May 28:
- On May 28, demonstrations have been planned across Tel Aviv to mark 600 days since the October 2023 Hamas attack during which dozens of Israeli hostages were taken captive in Gaza.
- A 600-minute nationwide protest march is scheduled to begin at 10:00 (local time) with participants setting out from various locations across Israel. They will then converge at HaKirya and continue to HaBima Square in Tel Aviv to hold a rally at 20:00.
- The activist group “Shift 101” will hold a protest at the Old Town Hall on Bialik Street from 16:00 to 19:00 as part of the demonstrations mentioned above.
- A local activist has called on bikers to gather at Dizengoff Square and complete 600 laps around the square starting at 09:00.
May 29
- On May 29, an anti-government protest has been planned at Rabin Square from 19:30.
Jerusalem
- The activist group “Women Make Peace” has organized an Interfaith march for Human Rights and Peace on May 28 from Zion Square to Jaffa Gate, scheduled from 15:00 to 17:00.
