Israel Tactical: Anti-government protests slated in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem on February 4; maintain heightened vigilance
Current Situation:
- Anti-government activists have called for protests in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem during the evening hours (local time) of February 4 to pressure the government into upholding the ceasefire agreement with Hamas and demanding the release of all hostages.
- The “Mishmeret 101” activist group has called for a sit-in protest in front of the US Embassy Branch Office in Tel Aviv from 16:00-19:00.
- The activists will then join the protest march scheduled to begin from Tel Aviv’s Dizengoff Square towards the US Embassy Office Branch at 20:00.
- A protest by the “Bring Them Home” group is slated near the Prime Minister’s residence on Gaza Street in Jerusalem from 15:00-18:00.
- The protests will coincide with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House on February 4.
