• The protesters will oppose the alleged derogatory remarks of the Home Minister and Center-ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amit Shah regarding Bhimrao Ambedkar, one of the makers of the Indian constitution. 

1. Anticipated turnout at the slated protest is likely to reach low-to-mid hundreds, attributed to the broader resonance of the issue and the mobilizing capabilities of the organizing party. Participation is expected to increase should other like-minded groups join the protest, as seen in previous protests given it coincides with the weekend. The authorities are expected to enhance security measures in the vicinity of Quli Qutub Shah Stadium. These measures are likely to include the deployment of police personnel and the setting up of barricades to monitor the crowd and minimize travel disruptions. 
2. There is a latent risk of confrontations with the authorities, particularly if the BJP supporters stage counter-protests. However, the authorities are likely to have a higher threshold for cracking down on the INC protesters given the party is in power in Telangana and the announced presence of senior INC leaders, like Imran Pratapgarhi, at the protest. Localized disruptions to pedestrian and vehicular traffic are expected in the vicinity of Quli Qutub Shah Stadium during the protest hours on January 5.
