• Protests are slated outside the Vaso Abashidze State New Theater at 16:00 (local time) and outside Parliament in Tbilisi at 20:00 on November 15.

• These demonstrations will mark the 353rd consecutive day of protest against the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party over its perceived authoritarian policies, including the disproportionate crackdown on anti-government activists.

Turnout at the slated protests is expected to range between the high dozens to low hundreds, given estimates from previous anti-GD gatherings, coupled with heightened sentiment ahead of the upcoming one-year anniversary of the ongoing protest movement on November 28. This will include the deployment of riot police and the placement of barricades to manage the proceedings and ensure smooth traffic movement.   
2. There remains a high risk of clashes between protesters and the security forces, given the authorities’ precedent of conducting crackdown on anti-GD gatherings. Should the protesters attempt to breach security cordons and block key roads, the police are expected to employ forcible crowd control measures including detentions and forced removal of demonstrators from the sites. In instances of extreme unrest, the use of water cannons and tear gas is likely. Significant disruptions to pedestrian and vehicular travel are anticipated in the vicinity of the aforementioned locations due to the anticipated turnout and associated security measures on November 15.
