• Members associated with the Forum Against Corporatization and Militarization (FACAM) are slated to hold a protest outside the Press Club of India in Delhi from 15:00 (local time) on November 3. 
• The protest will be held to condemn the alleged extrajudicial killings of Maoists, and the perceived unlawful mistreatment of students and activists by the government. 

1. The attendance at the protest is expected to range in the mid to high dozens, given the mobilizing capabilities of the organizing group and the traction garnered on social media. The turnout is likely to be bolstered further if likeminded groups including All India Students’ Association (AISA) and Fraternity Movement lend support to the protest. The authorities are thus likely to bolster security measures in the vicinity of the Press Club of India to monitor the proceedings. Such measures will likely include the deployment of additional police personnel and the placement of barricades, as part of standard security protocols.  
2. There remains a latent risk of scuffles between the police and the participants if the protesters are perceived to be engaging in disruptive behavior, such as breaching the security enforcements. In such cases, the authorities are likely to resort to forceful dispersal measures. These measures will potentially include baton charges and temporary detention. Localized disruptions to traffic are anticipated in the vicinity of the aforementioned location during the protest hours on November 3.
