MENA Tactical: UKMTO reports ‘suspicious activity’ off Yemen’s Hodeidah coast during early afternoon hours on September 4; take necessary precautions

- The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported “suspicious activity” about 178 nautical miles (330 km) northwest of Yemen’s Hodeidah, during the early afternoon (local time) on September 4.
- According to the report, a projectile landed in water near a vessel.
- No damage or casualties were reported, and the vessel resumed its transit. Authorities are investigating the incident.
- The UKMTO further reported “severe” electronic interference in the area.
